UC Merced Stabbing Assailant Was Student

MERCED (CBS13) — A suspect in the stabbings of four people on the UC Merced campus was shot and killed by campus police on Wednesday.
The assailant was a male student at the school who hasn’t been identified as officers try to notify next of kin.
The fight started in a second-floor classroom at around 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Two students, one staff member and a vendor were stabbed.
The stabbings left the campus in disbelief and shut down.
