Twin Rivers K-9 Dies After Training Exercise Accident

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A K-9 officer with the Twin Rivers Unified School District was killed during a training exercise on Wednesday.Officers say Jag was struck and by a big rig during a training exercise. He was taken to a veterinarian’s office where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The training exercise was inside a West Sacramento warehouse, though how Jag ended up outside and struck by the big rig is under investigation.
