Tryouts For SF Giants Wheelchair Softball Team

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Giants have the River Cats in West Sacramento, so they’re now expanding their league with wheelchair softball.
On Sunday, athletes proved they had what it takes to represent orange and black.
“A lot of people have preconceived notions,” said coach Rick Mason.
Coach Rick is offering up advice for athletes hoping to make the team.
“The focus is on the sport.  It’s the same sport, just done in a different way,” Mason said.
