Tahoe National Forest Christmas Tree Permits Sold Out

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) – People have quickly bought up all the Christmas tree permits for the Tahoe National Forest.
The U.S. Forest Service says all the permits for the Sierraville Ranger District were sold out just four days. Only a limited amount of permits, 400 in total, are available each year.We sold out of Christmas tree permits at the Sierraville Ranger District. 400 permits in 4 days–wow!
