Stolen Metro Fire Engine Pursuit Over, 2 Arrested

8 p.m. UPDATE: Metro Fire identified the stolen engine was a Type 1 Fire Engine, which is designed for structural firefighting.
During the pursuit, Metro Fire said they had to deploy a reserve engine to replace the stolen engine and continue “our essential mission of Emergency Service delivery.”
7:15 p.m. UPDATE: It is now confirmed that a man and a woman stole the engine. No one was injured in the pursuit.
