Stockton Standoff Ends Peacefully

STOCKTON (CBS13) – A suspect is in custody after a standoff with the Stockton and Oakland police departments.
The situation lasted for nearly seven hours overnight.
Stockton police say it all started at around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when Oakland police officers attempted to serve a felony arrest warrant to a suspect in a home on Dallas Avenue, near Gerogia Avenue.
The suspect barricaded himself in the home along with three children.
A SWAT team and negotiators were soon called to the scene.
