Some Stanislaus County Public Sector Workers Striking

MODESTO (CBS13) – Stanislaus County public sector workers are striking Monday morning.
SEIU Local 521 members are meeting in front of the county community services agency in Modesto, calling for better labor practices like improving staffing and working conditions for the county’s social workers and mental health clinicians.
Contract negotiations have been going on since April.
