Smoke From Fire Prompting 911 Calls In Rocklin

PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) — Smoke from a fire in Placer County is prompting many 911 calls from Rocklin.
The smoke from the 80-acre fire can be seen from Downtown Sacramento, but it’s carrying into Rocklin. The fire is 25 percent contained.
Concerned residents are calling 911 to the point that dispatchers want people to know they know about the smoky smell and not to call 911.
