Small Plane From Lincoln Reported Missing On Way To Oakland

ALAMEDA COUNTY (CBS13) — Authorities are looking for a small plane from Lincoln that might have crashed in Alameda County Tuesday afternoon.
KPIX-TV reports that air traffic controllers lost contact with the pilot of a Piper PA-32 single-engine plane at about 11:30 a.m. The plane was on its way from Placer County to Oakland, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The plane was about 10 miles east of Oakland International Airport when contact was lost, FAA officials said.
