Sacramento State Students Spending Spring Break Trying To Get Out The Vote

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A group of Sacramento State students are adding some extra substance to spring break through politics.More than 100 students are spending the week knocking on more than 1,600 doors to get out the vote for the 2016 election.
From sidewalks and stairs, to navigating around gates and even a few barking dogs, Sacramento State students are targeting neighborhoods with traditionally low voter turnout to try and change that.The work is far from easy, but it emphasizes service
