Sacramento State Library Closes For Asbestos Fixes

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Sacramento State has been forced to close its main library for months to fix a potentially dangerous situation.
The campus is closing its main library building starting on Friday to remove and contain asbestos.
The library dean says the asbestos abatement is critical right now not only to maintain a safe environment, but mainly because it was getting in the way of much-needed improvements.
