Sacramento Black Community Cookout

After a White woman called the police on an African American man for simply barbecuing at Oakland’s Lake Merritt, communities have been joining together, breaking out grills, in the spirit of unity.
Sacramento organizations are coming together to host a Sacramento Black Community Cookout on Sunday, June 24 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.. The Sacramento Black Community Cookoutwill be held in McClatchy Park, 3500 3rd Avenue and hosted by Build.Black, the Sacramento County African American Coalition,
