Rain And Snow Showers Hit The Mountains

SODA SPRINGS (CBS13) – The latest on a spring storm rolling through Northern California:
1:30 p.m.
Caltrans says they’re monitoring the storm to see if and when chain controls in the mountains will need to be posted.
Liza Whitmore with Caltrans says they are not seeing much accumulation of snow.
“We don’t have a specific amount to require chains. It’s whatever is safe for the roadway,” Whitmore said.
