GEORGETOWN (CBS13) – A precautionary lockdown has been lifted at two Georgetown schools after it was reported that a gunman was in the area.
According to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are searching for a suicidal man armed with a gun. He was first believed to be in the Georgetown area, which is why the schools – American River Charter and Georgetown School – were placed on lockdown.
