Police Investigating Suspicious Device Found On American River Trail

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A part of the American River Parkway Trail is closed due to police activity early Monday afternoon.
Sacramento police say they are investigating a possible explosive device.
Authorities have closed off the trail from Cal Expo (mile 6) to Campus Commons (mile 7.5).
It is unclear when the trail will reopen.
