PETA Pushes For Roadside Memorial For Chickens Killed In Crash

TURLOCK (CBS13) – A particular stretch of highway in Turlock has claimed the lives of numerous chickens – and PETA wants to make sure the animals are remembered.
Last Friday, a truck carrying chickens rolled over on Highway 99 near Lander Avenue. Many chickens were killed in the crash. Back in May, another truck crashed and many chickens were killed. The truck driver also died in the crash.
