Overnight Apartment Fire Kills Elderly Man In Arden Arcade

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — An elderly man was killed this morning in a fire at an Arden Arcade four-plex on the 800 block of Cathedral Court.  Sacramento Metro Fire was dispatched to the apartments just after 3:30 AM and found smoke billowing out of the first floor of a two-story unit.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it could spread to other units.  Crews are investigating the cause of the fire.
