One Man Dead From Gunshots In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO(CBS 13)- A man was shot dead around 2:24 a.m. this morning on the 2300 Block of 51st Avenue.
The Sacramento Police say they responded to a call of a man being shot, when they arrived on scene they found the man lying on the curb with a life threatening gunshot wound.
They began life saving measures but the victim did not survive and was pronounced dead on scene by officers.
Sacramento Homicide Detectives arrived to the scene and canvassed the area which is still blocked off.
