Motorcyclist passing traffic killed in San Joaquin County

A motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon when he tried to pass a driver by crossing into the oncoming lane of traffic on Highway 26 west of Linden in San Joaquin County, California Highway Patrol officers said.
