More Across The Top Closures Over Weekend; Full Completion Now Expected By Mid-November

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Caltrans said drivers who plan to westbound Interstate 80 in North Sacramento over the weekend expect heavy delays.
More construction due to the Across the Top project is planned.
The “local lane” will be closed east of Longview Drive, which will leave only the two far left express lanes open. This means that numerous exits – the Winters Street, Raley Boulevard, Norwood Avenue and Northgate Boulevard – will be closed.
