Man, 28, Killed In Fairfield Shooting

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (CBS13/AP) – A Fairfield elementary school was briefly locked down after numerous shots were fired nearby, killing one man.
Police say the shooting in Fairfield occurred about 9 a.m. Wednesday outside Grange Elementary School. Fairfield police say the shooting appears unrelated to the school.
Authorities say a gunshot victim was found nearby and taken to a hospital. Police didn’t release the victim’s name and no arrests were made.
