Last Asparagus Farmer In San Joaquin County Considering Calling It Quits
STOCKTON (CBS13) — Stockton’s Asparagus Festival is coming up next week, but most of the food at this year’s event will be imported from Mexico. The lack of local produce is due to many of the San Joaquin County farmers calling it quits on a crop they once celebrated in the Central Valley.
