Large Wild Fire Burning In South Lake Tahoe

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — CBS13 crews are en route to South Lake Tahoe, where a fire has El Dorado County Sheriffs and the Meaks Bay Fire Department confirm a large wild land fire has been burning since early Friday morning.
One evacuation center has been established at South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center located at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.
The fire is burning primarily  in the “Cascade” area, just south of Emerald Bay in the Lake Valley Fire Protection District.
