Instructor In Deadly Skydiving Jump Near Lodi Was Not Certified

ACAMPO (CBS13) – The instructed killed during a skydiving jump near Lodi on Saturday was not certified by the US Parachute Association, CBS News has learned.
The association is non-profit watchdog group that works to promote skydiving safety across the country.
A spokesperson told CBS News that anyone not listed with the group may not meet safety standards.
The Lodi Parachute Center declined to comment to CBS about the report Thursday morning.
