I-80 Re-Opened After Jackknifed Big Rig, Chain Controls In Effect

4:45 p.m. update: California Highway Patrol in Truckee has reopened the Interstate-80.
The agency said requirement 2 (R2) chain controls are in effect at this time. R2 controls mean chains or traction devices are required on all vehicles except four-wheel and all-wheel-drive vehicles with snow-tread tires on all four wheels.
