Highway 50 Standoff Over, Suspect In Custody, All Lanes Open

UPDATE 5:16 p.m. — Caltrans says Highway 50 is now back open in both directions.
UPDATE 5:01 p.m. — Police tell CBS13’s Shirin Rajaee the suspect is now in police custody. There is still no word yet as to when Highway 50 will be reopened.
UPDATE 4:59 p.m. — SWAT vehicles are now leaving the scene. The Ford Mustang is still on the scene.
UPDATE 4:22 p.m. — SWAT and multiple armored vehicles have arrived at the scene.
