Heavy Rain, High Winds Keep Sacramento Workers Busy

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – There’s no such thing as a 9-to-5 for some city workers when it rains.
Storm drains were clogged full of fall leaves after getting hit with several inches keeping crews busy far into the evening.
Caltrans also hit the streets early Thursday morning off of Broadway and I-5 as heavy flooding began causing trouble for drivers and turning roads into a slick commute.
Even more trouble downtown after an old Oak came up from the soil and dropped into nearby power lines.
