Foothill Communities Wake Up To Snow; I-80 Reopened In Sierra

PLACERVILLE (CBS13) – Interstate 80 is back open after whiteout conditions forced Caltrans to close it Monday morning.
Many communities in the foothills – including some dustings under the 1000’ level – woke up to snow Tuesday morning after the cold storm.
