Firefighters: American River Parkway Fire ‘Caused By Human Activity’

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A fire that filled the skies of Sacramento with smoke on Thursday was caused by humans, but it’s not known if it was set intentionally, the Sacramento Fire Department said on Friday.
Crews are still battling the 173-acre fire that started on at around 1:13 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. The fire’s eastern progress was halted by the remains of a fire that burned in the same area in June.
