Fire At Florin Perkins Public Disposal Site

5:30 p.m. UPDATE: Firefighters said the fire has been contained to the site and several companies were released.
They expect that this will be a long incident with firefighters working to fully extinguish the fire. The fire has spread to a dumpster, tractor trailers, and an outbuilding.

4:30 p.m. UPDATE: Sacramento Fire reported that with high temperatures, the fire department was stretched thin this afternoon. They said the largest fire is at the Florin Perkins site.
