Female Inmate Found Dead In Solano County Jail

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (AP) – Authorities in Northern California are investigating the death of a female inmate who was found unresponsive inside her cell.
The woman was found unconscious Monday afternoon in her cell at the Justice Center Detention Facility in Fairfield.
Solano County Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Deputy Christine Castillo says correctional staff performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
