Fatal Head-On Crash Closes Foresthill Road

PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) – Foresthill Road was closed in both directions Wednesday morning because of a fatal crash.
The head-on crash happened just after 7 a.m. near the intersection of Old Auburn Foresthill and Foresthill roads, east of Auburn,  and involved a lumber truck and an SUV.
The driver of the SUV, a 45-year-old Huntington Beach resident, was killed. The driver of the truck was not seriously injured.
