Fast-Moving Storm Expected To Bring Rain, Wind To Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A fast-moving storm is expected to hit the Sacramento area on Thursday, packing strong winds and rain.
The leading edge of the storm moved into Northern California, as far south as Butte County, but the brunt of the storm is expected around the noon hour on Thursday.
A winter storm warning has been issued for the western slope of the Sierra. Snow levels are expected to drop to 5,000 feet by the evening with 15 inches possible in the higher elevations.
