Ex-Sacramento Cop Giving Life In Prison For Rape

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — An ex-Sacramento police officer has been sentenced to life in prison for repeatedly raping a stroke-disabled elderly woman.
The Sacramento Bee reports that Judge Ernest Sawtelle called former officer Gary Dale Baker’s crimes “unspeakable” during the Tuesday sentencing.
Baker was convicted in July of attacking the woman at her senior living complex in 2010 and 2012. He was off duty at the time.
