Dog Carcass Found In Burn Pile In North Highlands

NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) – Just before noon, Metro Fire crews reaponded to a home on the 4700 block of Moorpark Way in North Highlands for report of smoke from a back yard. 
Crews arrived to find a burn pile in the backyard, with a deceased dog in the pile. Firefighters quickly called for assistance from Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deoartment and Sacramento County animal control.
