Dixon Teens Putting Baking Skills To Test For Classmate In Need

DIXON (CBS13) — Dixon High School students are coming to the aid of a student in need, with a little help from their home economics skills.
Ivan Contreras, 16, was paralyzed after a backyard accident, and he now uses a wheelchair.
While most teens spend their free time at the mall or hanging out with friends, these students baked for a teenager their didn’t even know.
“I don’t know who he is and that doesn’t matter to me. I want to help him,” said Lexy Urbie.
