Detectives: Suspect’s Gun Jammed During Deputy-Involved Shooting In Carmichael

CARMICHAEL (CBS13) – Authorities have released more information on the deputy-involved shooting that killed a suspect Thursday afternoon.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, the man who deputies shot near Cypress and Garfield Avenues at had gotten out of his car at after a pursuit and pulled out a gun. The man then took cover behind his car and took a “shooting stance towards officers.”
