Crews Narrow Search For Missing Ski Instructor To Avalanche Area

NORDEN, Calif. (AP) – Crews have resumed their search for a ski instructor who went missing at a Northern California ski resort.
The Placer County Sheriff’s Office says search-and-rescue teams are focusing on an avalanche slide area where the phone of 23-year-old Carson May lasted pinged.
The office said Sunday ground searches have been deployed but that a helicopter is on standby until the weather clears.
May was last seen skiing while off duty on Thursday afternoon at Sugar Bowl Sk
