CPSC Issues Recall For 1 Million Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Over Exploding Battery Hazard

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for 1 million Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices more than a week after the company disclosed the issue.
The government safety group announced the recall less than a week after it cautioned customers to stop using the product over a fire risk. The Federal Aviation Administration also cautioned users not to use the device on airplanes and to power them down when in flight.
