Couple Arrested After Buying Couch With Fraudulent Check

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – A Sacramento couple was arrested after police say they used a fraudulent check to buy a couch.
The incident dates back to March. Police say the couple, 28-year-old Trevor Lichnock-Gembe and 29-year-old Shellby Leeann Moore, bought a large sectional couch from a furniture store in Roseville and used a check to pay for it.
A few days later, the bank alerted the retailer that the check was fraudulent.
