Controversial Prisoner Esteban Nunez Released From Prison

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Esteban Nunez has been released from prison. Esteban, the son of former California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez, was serving a 16 year sentence for the murder of Luis Santos, a San Diego State Student.
A press release from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation says “he was released to Parole supervision this morning(Sunday). In accordance with the law he will reside in Sacramento county, which is his country of last legal residence.”
