Clayton Fire Now At 3,000 Acres, Five Percent Containment

LAKE COUNTY (CBS13) — The Clayton Fire burning in Lake County has grown to 3,000 acres and is just 5-percent contained, according to the latest update from CalFire.
Ten structures have burned and hundreds more homes are threatened.  The entire community of Lower Lake has been evacuated along with the southern end of Clearlake.  The fire started burning off Highway 29 just south of Lower Lake on Saturday.  The cause is still under investigation.
