CHP Officers Shoot Person Who Pulled Out Knife

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – California Highway Patrol confirms they are investigating an officer-involved shooting in south Sacramento.
The scene is near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Highway 99.
CHP says two officers were clearing a homeless camp when someone pulled out a knife. The officers then opened fire, hitting the person.
The condition of the person shot is unclear at this time.
No officers were injured in the incident.
