CHP: Modesto woman's car crossed lane before deadly crash

The California Highway Patrol said a 33-year-old woman driving northbound on a Modesto area street crossed into the southbound lanes, hitting a vehicle head-on driven by an off-duty Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputy.
