Chemical Spill Forces Evacuations In Manteca

MANTECA (CBS13) – Mandatory evacuations are underway after a large chemical spill in the city of Manteca.
The spill happened in the area of Bessemer Avenue and Carnegie Street — just north of highway 120.
Evacuations are in place in the nearby areas of Industrial Park, South Main Street, Yosemite Avenue and Powers Avenue, according to a statement from Cal Fire.
