Car Found Submerged In Slough, Crews Investigating

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Authorities are investigating after a car was found submerged in a slough east of Courtland.
The scene is near Lambert and Herzog Roads, about three miles off of Interstate 5. The Cosumnes Fire Department says they got a report of about a possible car in the water around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Crews at the scene soon discovered the reported vehicle about 200 yards south of Lambert Road.
DART is now helping with the investigation.
