Car Crashes Into Tree In Fair Oaks, 1 Killed

FAIR OAKS (CBS13) – A person was killed after a car overturned and ended up in a tree.
The scene is along Winding Oak Drive and Windsock Avenue.
Authorities got to the scene a little after 8:30 a.m. Friday and found that a car had somehow ended straight up in a tree. A large debris field could be seen.
California Highway Patrol confirms one person died in the crash. Investigators say the driver was going south on Winding Oak.
Neighbors say the driver looks to have been speeding.
