Calaveras Wildfire At 83 Acres, 10 Percent Contained

CALAVERAS COUNTY (CBS13) – Crews are battling a growing fire near the Camanche Reservoir.
The scene is off of Cheyenne Way, just southeast of the Camanche Reservoir in Calaveras County. Cal Fire first reports the fire started a little after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The fire has grown to 80 acres. The fire was initially thought to be over 200 acres, but updated fire mapping by authorities showed the fire wasn’t as large as originally thought.
