Cal Fire Crews Battling Wildfire North Of Newcastle, Structure Possibly Involved

NEWCASTLE (CBS13) – Cal Fire crews are battling fires in Placer and Nevada Counties on Thursday afternoon.
One fire is burning near Quartz Mine and Wise Roads. Crews report that the fire is about three acres. Flames may have spread to a structure, crews say. Ground and air crews are being dispatched.
Cal Fire also reports they are responding to a fire on Grizzly Hill Road in North San Juan, north of Grass Valley. The fire may have started inside of a structure and spread, officials say.
