Butte Fire Victims Burned By Bounced Insurance Check

CALAVERAS COUNTY (CBS13) — Two victims of the devastating Butte Fire say they’ve been burned again by a bad check.
Patricia and Jorge Contreras just started picking up the pieces when their bank told them they couldn’t accept their insurance check.
They went from a five-acre ranch in the mountains to a small motel in Tracy. Just when they thought things were getting back to normal, this happened.
